On 18-20 April 2016, the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies (CSLS) at the University of Oxford will host the Fourth Annual Civil Justice Conference on Consumer ADR/ODR.
The conference will address three timely topics and current research addressing these:
- How have Member States implemented the EU Consumer ADR Directive, and what landscape changes have occurred? Findings of a joint Oxford-ECC-NET study.
- Do consumers trust Ombudsmen? The findings of a major ESRC study into consumer trust into 14 Ombudsmen in Germany, France and UK.
- How should ADR bodies evolve? What criticisms and issues arise? What are the responses and future actions?
